FightSport.net: Fightsport.net here with SCF Lightweight Champion Arnold Hemingway now days away from what should be the biggest slugfest in SCF History, Arnold what's up?

Arnold Hemingway: Not much, finally wrapping up the training we did for my upcoming fight. You already know who I train with, SCF Middleweight Champion Jonny Steels, James Boltz, Carl Frazier, Foster, you know the clique, so now I'm just relaxing up and waiting for the big fight.

FightSport.net: Ever since you guys have been working together you've all been doing great, You started off winning a razor thin split decision, got together with those guys and went on and finish your next 4 fights by KO or TKO, Steels started off by losing his first fight, joined you guys and went on a 4 win streak to capture the Middleweight Title, Even Gilberto Dos Santos left you guys and entered his next fight outstriking his opponent, what the hell are you guys doing over there?!

Arnold Hemingway: Haha, we just feed well off of each other. Everyone brings something different to the table so when you're training with all of these guys you can't help but to become more well rounded.

FightSport.net: Ping Wong is a tough fighter with crazy strength in his legs. He also comes at his opponents from weird angles that's pretty much different from everyone else in your division. How do you prepare for a fighter like this? What type of training are you guys doing over there to get ready for this fight?

Arnold Hemingway: You know I can't tell you what we're doing exactly in preparation for this fight, but I can say that we've been looking at some things, reviewing some of his old tapes and pointing out the holes in his game then focusing on training around those. It should be an interesting fight for sure.

FightSport.net: At the SCF 13 Press Conference, Ping Wong said that you barely escaped the last fight with a win and this time around he's going to finish you and take the belt back to China, your thoughts?

Arnold Hemingway: Yeah I was there and I replied "he barely escaped with his jaw" because I dropped him in less than a minute of round one. Now I'm not going to sit here and pretend that this guy isn't good, because he's tough as hell. I entered that fight ready to expose him and he almost stole the fight in round 3, but he's not going to finish me, because he's not going to win the fight. I'm still going to try to look for the knockout though because I know Wong, he's going to try and knock me out to make up for the split decision loss, and I can't let that happen. I'm looking to knock him out because I want to prove that I can stop Wong, he's the only person that I've fought and didn't stop so I plan on changing that at SCF 15.

FightSport.net: This fight is an interesting fight to me for so many reasons but why do you think this is going to be a fight that the fans want to see?

Arnold Hemingway: Are you serious? Is that a serious question? Why wouldn't the fans want to see this fight? In the Lightweight Division there are 3 names that people fear, Hemingway, Wongm and Marquez. Marquez is moving down to Featherweight which leaves Me and Wong, two of the most feared strikers in this division to go at it for the belt. I've wanted this rematch ever since I got a split decision the first time around and finally here it is, 5 Rounds won't be needed because somebodys going down, check our fight history and that in itself should tell the people how great this fight will be.

FightSport.net: And your predictions for this fight?

Arnold Hemingway: I have two predictions, but I can only say one of them so not to rish my strategy in this fight. Hemingway by knockout in Round 2. We both have power in our strikes so I'd be surprised if it went the distance again with 5 Rounds.
